December Projects

Well I am finally caught up with posts!!  The December classes will be on the 10th, 11th and 12th so if you would like to join us for a class let me know.  Here are the projects we will be making and it will be the last chance to order out of the mini catalog.

Using the Oh Deer paper pack we will be making this winter layout.  The word Winter was cut out using our new thin cut.  You could also use this layout for fall pictures too.

The stamp of the month is using the random stamping technique.  To help with time the paper will already be random stamped for you and then you can add the sentiment you would like.

Now who doesn't like snowmen?!  These cute cards are made using the new thin cuts (which will be available only until December 31st) and how fun are these.  They would also be so fun to add to your winter or Christmas layouts.

Finally you will make 6 tags to add a special touch to your Holiday packages this year.

November Projects

The November projects were a lot of fun to make and this layout was a favorite among many card club members.  The Winter wonderland tag in the upper left hand corner of the layout was made using the Christmas cricut digital cartridge (only available until December 31st).

The November stamp of the month was a tri fold card.  Not only could you use this stamp set to send cheers for the new year but you could make a fun wedding card or celebration card with it.

Who would not like to get a fun birthday like this!!  This is the latest card to make--it is a twist and pop out card.  This was a bit of a challenge for the gals to make but they were all successful!

The 3x3 cards were bright and cheery using the Swan Lake paper pack and cute sayings.

I must apologize for not getting the past couple months of class projects posted.  Between making packets for classes and working on craft fair projects, the time has gotten away from me.  Here are the last couple of months so those who might have missed class will be able to get their packets done.

The classes in October were a lot of fun and here is what we made:

Using the Swan lake paper we created this fun fall layout.  You can make it just like this photo or swap the pages for a different look.

Seems so early for Christmas, but you have to plan ahead so you are ready.  These cards were made using the stamp of the month.  The embossing on the card is one of the new embossing folders Close To My Heart sells.

Along with the Christmas theme we added a fun waterfall Halloween card.  Everyone loves it when we make these cards and they always forget how easy they really are to make.

The 3x3 cards this month were simple but a nice card to add to a gift bag for someone special.

Classes begin again September 17-19

Another great card club season is about to begin and everyone is welcome to come join in on the fun.  Whether you are a regular or a guest, stop on by and make some cards or a two page layout.  Here are the projects we will be doing in September:

Everyone has a birthday so these cute 3x3 cards will come in handy for that special gift.

Having a thank-you card on hand is always good and these cards are showcasing one of the new fundamental paper packs we now have.  Great fun bright colors in each pack.

We always make a card using the stamp of the month and in September it will be this fall card.  Not that we want summer to be gone, but fall will be here before we want it!

Hopefully you took some great summer photos so you can add them to this fun layout.

June Projects

Another fantastic year in card club has come to an end and we can't wait for the new season to start in September.  There will be an open house in August to showcase all the new product coming out.  The mini seasonal catalog will be good until the end of August but don't wait too long to get those cool thin cuts as they seem to be very popular.  This month we did two cards using the thin cuts and they really make the final project look great.

This is the new Calypso paper, but it is so great to use for water and beach pictures.

This is the June stamp of the month and so great to use for male cards.

Check out how fun these cards are using the new thin cuts.  They make putting cards and layouts so quick and easy.  Also a great way to use up some of those smaller scraps we all save.

How cute are these die cuts with the flamingos?  These were a big hit at the June class.

May Projects

I must apologize for getting behind on my posts!  I hope to get better at keeping up with these next year.  Here are the projects we did in May in case anyone needs to see the samples.  I already had them displayed on my wall so the cards are all together.

The layout we did was with the new Magical paper.  For anyone that has taken a trip to one of the Disney parks this is the paper pack for you.

Regatta layout workshop

Want to get some of your pictures into albums with not a lot of work on your part?  Here is your chance to make 6--2 page layouts in a few hours.  April 23rd, 24th or 25th (10am-1pm) I will be offering this workshop for only $35 (that is a little less than $3 a page!)  I do all the cutting for you, so bring LOTS of adhesive and get ready to create these layouts.  You can showcase summer activities, beach days, cruising, boating or so many other family vacations.  The price includes a regatta paper pack (pre-cut ahead of time), sticker pack and embellishments.  Bring your friends and come have some fun putting together these great layouts.

April classes

Spring is in the air, although there is always a chance for snow still here in Colorado.  The April classes will be the weekend of the 9th-10th-11th and there is always room for new guests to join us.  The Seasonal Expressions 1 will be retiring at the end of this month (April 30th) so time is running out for ordering all the cute paper, embellishments and stamps from it.  Here are the April class projects:

The stamp of the month S1604 Life in Pictures is perfect for those who love to take pictures.  Although we are making a pop-up card with it, using it for layouts would be perfect too.

Although the Georgie paper is great to use for babies and little ones, I chose to use it for a spring layout because I like the soft colors.  Spring is such a wonderful season as the weather warms and flowers begin to bloom.

Here is a beautiful card using the stamp set C1641 Springtime Wishes and the new thin cuts (unfortunately the thin cuts are no longer available but the stamp set is until April 30th).  This card would make a beautiful Mother's Day card, birthday card or all occasions card.

The 3x3 cards will be using the technique of making our own ink pad.  Using a wet wipe and three colors of re-inker you can create your own colorful ink pad.  This is the Sangria paper and I used three colors to match the bright colors in this paper.

We enjoyed our cruise and when I got back it was already time for the March classes.  Everyone had a good time making the cards and layouts.  Here are the projects we did in March.
This was such a bright fun layout this month using the Penelope paper pack and washi tape. The gals really liked the washi tape and had fun using it.

The stamp of the month S1603 Sunshine Birdies was a hit because everyone liked the little birdies.  The bird cage was cut out using a cricut cartridge and then cutting the center out exposing the bird inside.  This stamp set had some cute sayings.

This cute shaker card was made using our 2x2 flip flaps.  Isn't this such a cute stamp set A1180 Safari Ballet.  The giraffe and hippo are fun to color and add a special touch to your cards.

3x3 cards are always great for a gift bag and these were made using A1175 Pen Pals.

February classes will be coming up on the 6th-7th and 8th.  Everyone is welcome to come on by and make some cards and/or layout.  Classes are only $10 a packet if you are not a club member.  Here are the projects we will be doing this month.

The layout we are making is using the new beautiful Charlotte paper from the new Seasonal Expressions catalog.  This paper uses a wonderful combination of colors such as Sorbet, Whisper, Slate and Black.  This paper is perfect for those old time black and white photos we all have hanging around in shoe boxes.

This card is made used using the February Stamp of the Month S1602 Balloon Animals and the very colorful paperpack Sarita.

Close To My Heart has come out with a new product Thin Cuts with coordinating stamp sets.  This card is a fun card using Spring Critters Thin Cuts, C1638 Spring Critters and Georgie paper.

The 3x3 cards are fun card for Valentine's Day and would be a nice addition to a gift bag or package for that special someone.  You would make one of the three.
